This concert series is all about about preserving and presenting Louisiana “roots” music, and features everything from country and bluegrass to Southern gospel and Zydeco, and beyond. It’s held in the Abita town hall, where the cypress walls and cool old wooden floor add to the ambience. Shows are on the third Saturdays, 7-9pm, with doors opening at 5:45pm. www.abitaopry.org
