Bring chairs, blankets, family and friends to Abita Springs’ Trailhead & Park for an Independence Day Celebration. The 2019 event featured a celebration presented by VFW Post 8720 starting at 5 p.m. with a decorated bike and wagon parade rolling through the town (patriotic costumes encouraged!) along with live music, a flag retiring ceremony, local civic organizations with fun activities and games, Abita Beer, concessions and snoballs.
